If you've never heard of MySpace before, it's a popular international website, notorious for its "friend-based" networking. It's simple - first, you sign up (www.myspace.com), then you put up a picture (or ten), fill out the profile section ("About me," "Who I'd like to meet," General, Music, Books, Heroes, Movies, etc), and you're ready for friends! Browse, search, add your personal friends, browse your personal friends' friends, approve friend requests from others - however you like, it's up to you to find your mates, but they are well-needed to really enjoy MySpacing...

Once you have friends, you can send them messages, comments, pictures, bulletins, songs, videos and everything else besides the kitchen sink - and who knows, you may even be able to do that too! MySpace is really great if you need a date, if you like to browse underground music artists, look at funny pictures or videos, read interesting blogs, become a part of like-minded communities, or are just plain curious about other people's lives - it definitely makes unique entertainment. And if you can't cough HTML, there are always dozens of sites that will help you generate HTML codes for you to spice your page up (www.myspaceeditor.org, http://www.picgames.com/forum/myspace-layout-editor.php, www.freecodesource.com, or www.mywackospace.com).

So, if you don't already have your MySpace profile - pull up your jeans, make one and come send us a friend request (www.myspace.com/cakenyc). Warning - we are only accepting female-gendered friends! For you boys - it's www.myspace.com/cakeboys (however, currently renovating)...

Once you're our friend, we've exposed you to the CAKE MySpace community (members and non-members), and them to you. So find your close friends, complete strangers or even that girl you thought was cute at the last CAKE party... you never know what could happen. And what happens on MySpace, stays on MySpace... (if you want it to =D)

Most importantly - POST BLOGS! Right now, we're giving away books, vibrators and other sexy prizes to the most interesting posts (sexy, funny, silly - all creativity welcome). And this does not only mean written posts; they can be pictures or videos as well (see the photography blog on our page).
