tick tock, tick tock, tick tock.

After three years, we're still waiting on the FDA to approve EC for over the counter use. It is hard to believe isn't it, but it has been exactly three years since the FDA received an application to make the morning-after pill - a safe and effective way to prevent unintended pregnancy - available for over-the-counter sales.

What's the problem people??? Give the people what they want already.

President Bush recently nominated Andrew von Eschenbach to be commissioner of the FDA. Senators Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) and Patty Murray (D-WA) have declared that they will block von Eschenbach's nomination until the agency makes a decision on Plan B�. Click here to support them
